my 2 year old psp is in POS condition. the ring has several scratches, one of the screws behind the battery is stripped from trying to open it, the screen has scratches, there is dust under the screen, the silver/gray outline of it has small nicks from this POS pelican faceplate, the umd door sticks out a little, and the battery last like 50 mins per charge. how can i fix the stripped screw?

Okami_Master

does it work for screws that have a diameter of 2 mm? thats the diameter of the psp screw in question.

btw, if you dont have a ruler handy, 2 mm is about 1/5 of a cm.

battery is holding less charge (less than 2 hours)

slightly slower loading times

that's about it :)

Pretty decent, screen is fine, no scratches on it of note. the silver ring has a scratch on it, but it's no biggie. Got mine on launch back in sept. 05. Only really started using it properly in the last 2 weeks as an MP3 player, haven't bought a game for it in about 15 months though.

6 Months old. Got a ton of scratches, only one little on the screen. I got a couple chips taken out of the side from drpooing it on a metal corner and other stuff. It still works, and has a little personality now ^.-

My PSP will make I think 2 years this month or the next, if not 3 years. It's still in tip top shape and there's no scratches anywhere, the buttons all work smooth except the R button which sometimes gets stuck. Other than that, the white wrist strap is starting to darken slowly, but that's ok, I can just buy a new one...... I'm soon to buy a PSP Slim.

I've had it since launch and the condition right is, sadly, collecting dust, it is the only thing that is the issue. It's obviously not played a lot since games aren't all the plentiful in solid gameplay...

My original PSP is now 7 months old, and it's still in a pretty good condition. It has some dust on it, and there is a scratch on the ring (which I have absolutely no problem with).

Mine is alright except for the freaking dust under the faceplate... at least it's not visible while I'm playing.

I bought mine the day it got released in Europe, don't remember the year. It's in perfect shape, no dust, scratches, broken buttons or anything, but the only thing that bothered me is the stuck pixels (5 of them) that's there since I bought it.

Mines in POS condition software wise, and it isn't my fault whatsoever. The retarded thing ejected itself while I was transferring files on day, and that **** up the memory card AND its ability to transfer over files. In other words, I can't put any music, videos, demos or pictures on it. That leaves UMD games. Well, I guess 1/5 is something...

I have the launch model (US) I bought on release day, so its like 3 years old or so. Aside from fingerprints everywhere, its still in like new condition- NO scratches, nicks, or scrapes whatsoever! And it works just as good now as it did when I bought it all those years ago. Only thing I've replaced on it has been the analog stick. The original popped off in my ex-girlfriend's ride and I couldn't find it.

Mines an old one, near the fats launch date. It's in very good condition, a few scratches barely visible.

My battery life is pretty good, mainly because I don't need the umd drive (heh heh). Fourth Brightness eats it up though.
