i got mine in 07 and i only thought it had web browser, blu ray movie playback, and game play back. i use mine for music downloads (download.nl) and videos, i spend like 5% of my life on justdubs anime, gaming obviously, and since my pc is messed up i've been using ebudyy lite for hotmail im and myspace mobile because regular myspace is soooo sloooow on ps3. There is truly no console like it though.
i dont have aps3 yet, but a feature most people dont know about is if u have an AVCHD handy cam, u can store and archive ur footage on ur ps3 HDD for later playback throught the ps3
lol the image of you f*****g your ps3 is hilarious!well it all happened 4 years ago, I'd just gotten out of the shower when i fell out of the window and to my surprise a steamroller flattered my penis as flat as a blu-ray DVD.
I was lonely sooo lonely, you see no girl is as wide as the Ps3 DVD slot; and well I've been in love ever sincemep69
Actually I did buy my playstation 3 for one part of the Xross media bar. For playing Videogames. Yes thePS3 can do internet, Movies, Music, etc Which is a nice bonus. But I just use my PS3 for gaming.
Watch movies and play music on my playlist in the games that let me, and use the browser when I want to find some free themes for other users in my home and find and save images for their IDs and backgrounds.
I bought it for games. I guess Blu-Ray movies are a bonus, though I'm still more interested in DVDs. Yeah I know they're supposed to be inferior, but they're compatible on more devices than Blu-Ray.
I use my 60 gig PS3 for all my gaming, watching movies both on DVD and Blu-Ray, Storeing photo albums, listening to music, and when it's not being used for any of the other features it's F@H. It stays on 24/7 just about all the time unless there is a severe thunderstorm close by (which happens a good bit during the summer months and liveing in the lightning capital of the US it doesn't pay to not take all precautions when a storm is close by).jimm895
I think a surge protector is ment to prevent damage from shortages/power outs. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
gaming and blu ray movies.
iv been starting to get blu ray movies.
i dont really use the pictures and music thingys
I'm constantly watching movies and tv shows on mine, do that way more than play games. Also listen to a fair bit of music on it, better than using my laptop cause it's hooked up to my big speakers. Watching Saw V as I type this ha ha.

A surge protector will help I highly advise one, it helps say if you go out and the storm happens or your away from home for whatever and can't turn off your devices it's probably saved my PS3 a few times.
