i play it and its pretty good codemaster did a pretty good job looks a little betteer than the 360 version thats really good for ps3 system enjoy this game
I heard the frame rate problems found in the 360 version when you see multiple cars on screen got fixed. Also ps2 driving wheels are supported. So awesome that I remembered this game last week, and then saw an interview where the guy is like "there should be a demo out before the game release." And then here it is! I'm still waiting to play it, downloading real slow.
It wasn't half bad. I liked it. Maybe not enough to buy it for myself but now that I've played it, I may get it for my nephew's 360 so he'll have something new to play. I really want to try Lair though...maybe next week when Warhawk (another must have game) is released?
I loved DiRT on the other console and this version is much better. The ground texture looks sharper, the sound is crisper and I can assure you that the frame rate is much better on the PS3 version. This is most apparent with the car that you pick on the far right side of the car selection screen (sorry I don't remember the name:P). Unfortunately I played the 360 version to death so I won't be buying this, but the PS3 version is definitely superior.

Knowing nothing previously about the 360 version, I fired up the demo and was astounded at how good the intro graphics looked. They kinda reminded me of Motostorm so I figure they must use the same engine.
I was surprised that the same quality the intro ran in was equal during game play. Framerate was real smooth. Speaking of game play I found the controls intuitive, and the different game modes were a plus. I had a ton of fun playing the three different levels. The loading time kinda got under my skin.
I will probably rent this one first, but it seems like a good first racing game for me to get on the PS3. Once home comes out this will be a good one to play with your buddies.
