Well, I have been reading that the Wi-Fi Max tends to not work that well. Most people that use the PSP to go online have a wireless router like a Linksys or Netgear. Some people have other ones but those are just the top brands that I know.

It shouldn't be that hard to setup, but then again, I didn't set mine up so I don't know.

You can't steal the signal, almost all routers require passwords...Plus it's illegal.

Not not really. I always get a signal that I can use from one of my neighbors. I never have though because I have netgear and of course mine is stronger.

Yeah i will probably just get a wireless router that way I can use my DS, PSP, and for my PS2 right now, probably worth it, sounds like WiFi Max is lame from what else i have heard.

I'm using the d-link 624 for more than a year and I have not had any problems. It was very easy to set up.

A wireless router is the best way to go, because then you can use it for other devices, computers, etc. without issue.

Yeah since we got our wireless router i can take my laptop anywhere, and whenever my mom needs the Computer i can just use the psp, it's mostly for psp handicapped sites though cause sites like this one are to big for the psp to go on. Plus online play (for most games) is easy to set up and start playing really quick
