PS2:7.5 the hardware is starting to show its age which meand there is not much they can add to the old girl

PS3: 8.0 30fps and the graphics wont be as tight because EA is focusing on the 360 version this year

Not changed much!? I've read (at least) two reviews saying how much better it is this year. Gametrailers gave it a 9.0 (iirc) and gamedaily gave it a 9.0 (for sure). Yahoo videogames gave it a 4.5/5 which is essentially a 9.0. You must be one of those people that expect the game to change every year beyond roster updates. Well the NFL doesn't really change that much. The only negatives I've heard of is the lack of online leagues.

I don't think the NFL has changed much since Tecmo Bowl came out, but football games have come a long way since then, eh? As a sports sim, it should be EA's goal to make Madden as true-to-life as possible, which is what gamers buying this stuff deserve. This console generation supplies more than adequate power for things like, say, referees on the field... There's really no excuse for these sorts of things, and until EA stops hiding behind their exclusivity BS and actually starts innovating, count me and a whole lot of other gamers OUT. Maybe this is the year when that actually happens (and from what I've read, they're getting closer), but gamers like you who blindly buy what essentially are annual roster updates/slight graphical improvements propogate lack of effort in game developers.

Yes, so I predict X360:8.5, PS3: 8.0. I'm not saying I agree with those scores, but the last few Maddens have been utter tripe, and they've been scoring quite solidly on GS anyway.
