I admit, it is highly suspect of Sony to even PRODUCE a PS3 without this little feature, but someone in Sony's vast think-tank of stupidity did, and now it has landed squarely in your living room. the fact that it has no cross-game in-game chat... oh wait, you said "best feature" :) in that case, the controller...always loved the dualshock design, glad they didn't change it too much.
I personally can't get enough of that PS logo that can spin 90 degrees to suit a vertical and horizontal position. Oh right, and the game playing is cool too.

My favorite feature about the PS3 is its ability to be a fully functional hub for all my videos and music. That's something my old 360 could never do.....
The fact it weighs 20 kilos. Damn that thing is a pain in the ass to travel with..... My carrying case always gets killed when the PS3 travels in my checked in luggage.
I don't know if i can name one feature since there are *many features*. the blu-ray drive is one but thats dependent on the HDMI output along with a 1080p HDTV. Another feature I love is the media server capability. But the best feature is being able to play hi-def games.
