What do you think is the best PS3 RPG? (POLL)

so, at this piont, there are quite a few great RPGs on the market for the PS3, and I am here to ask which one YOU think is the absolute best. If you picked other, please name your choice below

NOTE: I do NOT consider Valkyria Chronicles to be an RPG, since it is more of an RTS, tactics based game. It has very slight customization, but then, so does every single other game this generation. I am not saying it is a bad game, but it really doesn't fit into the RPG category.

I only own Oblivion, Fallout 3, Dragon age, and Final Fantasy. Out of them best story imo is Dragon age but wish there were more places to explore. Biggest is Oblivion but it got boring real quick. I couldnt get into fallout 3 at all. Best graphics was Final Fantasy but way way to linear and when you got to gran pluse its sort of werid since then i would wish it would be Linear. So imo its Dragon age> Final Fantasy 13 > Oblivion > Fallout 3

Fallout 3. I've yet to give FFXIII a spin since the game looks so asinine (Stopped playing by X when the characters got too girlish and stupidly dressed).

Either Final Fantasy XIII or Eternal Sonata.

Without question Demon's Souls. The game is so immersive to get into, and it probably has the best boss fights of any game on the PS3 besides the GOW series. The graphics are also good looking, and for the most part the difficulty is what makes the game so much fun to begin with. Yes, at some parts you might want to tear your hair out, but the game really rewards players for persevering and I think that's what makes it so enjoyable.

I really can't decide between Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls as the best rpg on the ps3

I choose Disgaea 3, I was hugely addicted to that game for a while.

Demon's Souls is the bomb baby, I just died like 20 freakin times on the 2-2 boss within the last hour. Dying has never been so much fun.

No seriously I hate this stupid boss, I had him to a sliver of health like 8 freakin times and he some how gets a miracle 1 hit kill on me. I had to stop playing as I was gettting really reallypissed:D Now I have no more souls, no more stim pack flower things and basically am screwed. I gotta start grinding some stages all over again. I love this game, nowait I freakin hate it, ok I love it but god damn man :D

I'm not a fan of RPG games, however, Fallout 3 is an exception for me, it was awesome! :D

come on guys! while demons souls was good , dragon age is a far more beter game in terms of rpg... let alone the story and characters.yes demons souls was a must and a blast to play but dragon age is a better rpg . there were some issues in gameplay in DS like lets say the game doesn t inform you at all for its upgrades unless you read them in wiki souls, everything is a secret unlike dragon age where things are balanced. the various stones ... in order to get bladestones and such you must grind A LOT. while the game was hard it was nt cheap

finally the story was totally forgetable , totally unnoticed,at least to me,and i did not understand a single thing.

I'd say Valkyria Chronicles. It's just much more complete as a RPG than Demon Souls, however it was still a great and unique action RPG. Close call between those two.

Final Fantasy XIII and Resonance of Fate were nice games from this year, but just aren't up there with those other two for me. They both had it's flaws and I prefer Dragon Age and Oblivion on the PC.

I guess I'd have to go with Eternal Sonata. Beautiful game!

Valkyria Chronicles, we need a sequel on the PS3.

Valkyria Chronicles. I get the feeling Resonance of Fate or Demon's Souls could come close when I get the chance to play them though.
