What do you think Metal Gear will get on gamespot?

I am sure everyone is waiting for the new Metal Gear Solid game to come out. And im wondering what everyone thinks it will score?

I personally think it will get a 9 or 9.5/10. But then again im a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fanboy, so who knows.

Anyways, just post your guess as to what you think gamespot will score it!

I just hope it doesnt get a lower score then it deserves (Like the last Metal Gear game, which should have been 9 easy imo)

Yea i agree, while i like gta iv alot, its definatly not a perfect game imo.

At the begining of the year i thought Metal Gear Solid, Starcraft 2 or NInja Gaiden2 had the best chance at getting a 10, but not GTA.

Personally I don't think it will get a 10. It probably will deserve a 10 but GS will dock it points for the story being to hard for most people to get into.

IMO if GTA4 gets a 10 this should too.

Who cares what gamespot or any other site/magazine gives mgs4 or any other game? It's like some of you depend on reviews rather than your own judgement.

I think it will get a 9.2 at GS, they'll give it AAA because they know it deserves it, but don't want to give it a high AAA..

it cant get a 9.2 since gamespot only gives scores in incrememnts of .5. how do people still not know this? and how are some of you people saying this game deserves a 10, when none of you have even played it. you cant know what it deserves if you've never played it. i think it'll get a 9.5 though. in the new playstation magazine the person who reviewed it said its in his list of the top 10 games hes ever played.

you would certainly think that it would get a 10/10, because it sure as **** deserves it, but they will probably pull a R&C and give it a 7 for being too complicated for their 360 brainwashed minds.lostsoulsofmn

If all the sites rated this game perfect 10's and gamespot gives a 9.5 cuz of the storyline, then they're just doing it on purpose, because it's the best game and all the sites agree who are not run by CNET. If they give it a 9.0 or below then they have something against PS3 period. Every exclusive was rated low on this site on PS3. Bioshock was boring and did no way deserve that score and Halo 3 as well. If MGS4 gets a low score then I will hate this site for their unfairness. That is if it was scored 9.4 or less. To the moderator who reads this- If you suspend me for my opinion then I will file a lawsuit against this site for Freedom of Speech. This is a warning to you.

Thats why I trust gametrailer reviews :D but to answer the question, I think 9.0-10.00

I am predicting that it will receive a 9.0. Who knows, it might even be the best game on the PS3.(better than GTA IV????)--NOT

I say from this site. 8.0. Just going by history. But the game will be awesome.

Im almost like a kid at christmas with these games coming out lately/soon (two of my fav series of all time, Metal Gear and Ninja Gaiden.. and also Age of Conan on pc which i just bought today).

Just played Metal Gear 1 the other day for about the 100th time lol, but its still a great game even after all these years.

dont worry about its score, just enjoy this brilliant game when its released like the rest of the MGS fans...

first off, you fail for using the word "braw". secondly, i never said it deserves a 9.5. the TC asked what we thought it would get, and i said i think it will receive a 9.5. never did i say anywhere that it deserves a 9.5. and yes, several people in this thread have already brought the 360 into this discussion and put it down for no reason other than they're fanboys. oh, and no you're wrong, gamespot does not give out ratings like 9.8 or 9.3 etc. they only give ratings in increments of .5 now. sorry "braw"
