Well, I'm playing it on the 360 as I don't have my PS3 yet (someday), but the game is amazing IMO if you adjust the sliders around a bit. If you like pretty close to true sim, just follow some guides found online for setting the sliders and the game becomes just plain awesome! Also a little biased as this is the first baseball game in years that I can enjoy playing a season with my Tigers!
I can't say that I've played it, but I think anyone hanging on the fence owes it to himself to wait for The Show on PS3... MLB 2K games have been lacking in recent years, especially compared to Sony's entry. The PS2 version of The Show outscored 2k7 8.5 to 6.7... I think it's fair to guess it'll do the same for the PS3. I think it's also fair to assume that the PS3 version will dazzle, as it'll be Sony's big 1st party sports debut. They need some 1st party gems, and The Show could be one if they play their cards right.
Its an awful baseball game. It is as unrealistic a game as you will find. People thinking it is a good game must love arcade games, or have no clue what a real baseball game is like.
My honest opinion is I Dont like it at all. I got it for a birthday gift the other day and im trying to trade it in for something else. Im waiting for MLB07 the show. That game was great last year for the PS2. Thats my opinion.

I know baseball quite well and i dont like it. Its just my opinion. MLB the show was a much better game then 2k7 so im waiting for the new one to come out.
Seems to be a bit too many homeruns hit for my taste. It does seem to have a good amount of options and extras and the players and stadiums are incredibly well done, but let's just say that I'm glad I rented it first. I'm both guessing and hoping that "The Show" will be better and I will make that my next purchase. But what do I know, I'm the same guy that spent $60 on Def Jam: Icon! While Icon is pretty good for a few hours it really doesn't have any replay value and on top of that I thought I would be able to use my own music tracks!

You have no clue what you are talking about. MLB 2k7 is about as accurate to baseball as nba street is to basketball. adjust the sliders for difficulty :)
