What do you think of the WWE All Stars demo?

I was pretty excited about this game coming out but was immediately disappointed in how slow the game feels. It feels like they are fighting in slow motion and moving on quick sand. It does have a huge list of wrestlers though which is good. Maybe it just takes some time to get used to. What do you think of this demo?

its just a bad game all around stick with the 90s classics arcade wrestling games

Im downloading now, kinda woundering about this game. I know i wont buy it thats for sure. Just want to see if it is as bad as every says it is.

I was so impressed by the WWE All Stars trailer that I had high hopes for it but was disappointed with it. I didn't like the controls or the overrall speed of the game. I like MK demo much better than this game. As soon as I saw Mortal Kombat Kratos gameplay trailer and saw the button prompt move, I am gonna be getting Mortal Kombat.

I tried it but got bored pretty fast, but then again I haven't enjoyed a wrestling game since Fire Pro Wrestling Returns

Fire Pro Wrestling is a better game than this. They should make Fire Pro Wrestling HD and put it on PSN. Online fights would be great.

Every time they come out with one of these games with wrestlers from MY era, they stink... I would love to have a game with Hulkomania and Andre and Dusty Roads, Ultimate Warrior... But they keep snappin' my fragile lil' heart with these failures...

i liked it more than legends of wrestlemania...

definitely not a day one buy or any price over 15-20 and thats if you're a big wrestling fan

Wrestling games haven't been good since Here Comes The Pain and based on the WWE Allstar demo, the trend continues. Right off the back, the choices of Ultimate Warrior and Rey Msyterio is odd. But so far I don't like the gameplay or the controls. I still find it strange that wrestling games still have to load during entrance and matches. wrestling games( and sports games ) haven't evolved this gen. alot of these games are released on PS2 aswell and are only separated by graphic increase. im actually going to play the demo more (like with a friend) so don't take my thoughts on WWE AllStars too seriously. I don't like it. Pretty much the same as every other Smackdown game it's just more over exageratted.

I gave it a try and wasn't too impressed. I have been a WWF/WWE fan for many years and I think they should really focus on the Smackdown vs Raw seriesand keep improving that.I do appreciate the direction they were going in andwhat they tried to do with the WWE All Stars game, but I think there were some people that said it was slow and I agree-that does need some work. I should be able to fly around the ring with a character like Rey Mysterio (hopefully that will be improved in the final verison of the game).

Personally, I would much rather play WWF Wrestlefest in the arcade than WWE All Stars! for those of you eagerly awaiting WWE All Stars I hope the final version is awesome!

I played it for like an hour :| The game was pretty damn hard and I wanted to just beat Ultimate Warrior with Rey. Took me a little while... I thought it was pretty fun but I'm not buying it.

And Rey Mysterio who is suppose to be the "fast guy" is built like a 350lb short, stocky tank and moves like a tank too. I could only imagine how slow the big show and andre the giant are.

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!! Next game on my list.

i found it pretty fun, but the thing is the people who made tna impact made it and its pretty obvious that they were lazy and didnt fix some things with this game from tna. Like first off the wrestlers stances are the same from tna impact, also the way they reverse like the majority of your moves is also from that game and lastly the sound effects when you drop someone on the mat is the same from tna impact too.

I agree 100%. HCTP was the last great wrestling game i played (and still do, to this day, from time to time.) I feel as if THQ suddenly just, didnt care anymore as soon as the inaugural Smackdown vs Raw game came out in '04. '06 was pretty decent but from then on, it just got even worse. Like you said, All Stars definately continues the trend.
