I think the only feasable problem Gamespot could give it is that its too hard. Most of the MGS games are quit hard although im not complaining. A personal problem for me would be the fact that when the game ends...no more MGS games to play through:(
hmmm... why do all the answer haveto be negative? what if when its released its the perfect MGS game without any flaws?and can MGS really have an identity crisis.
Wait is this topic about the what score GS is going to give it, I don't care about reviews, infact Inever cared about what score any game would get especially if it is MGS.
I hope it doesn't turn out to be hard, I remember loving the games although I also remembering throwing my controller away in a hissy fit alot. Although i'm going for the first one option.
MGS4 is suppose to be the longest of them all, so put that down the drain. I think the downside is that it may not please everyone who's grown to love one or all of the characters. Yet that's something that comes and goes with most franchises with huge fan followings.
Maybe to long, but I think it may have some framreate also. Not much but some. Besides that It will be a 5 horse race between Killzone2, MGS4, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 4, And Infamous/ or Little Big planet. For maybe game of the year.

I voted the last opinion, even though it might not be the case for some people. Only downside I can think of is that it will be the last one of the series. I recall David Hayter being upset as well.
The gameplay was unique and revolutionary. I have no doubt they can do this again. Gameplay was too often interrupted by codec and long confusing cutscenes.
This one is an easy one.. the same weakness all the others shared an obtuse far fetched story written whilst pokin some smot. also not helping is the central antagonist being voiced by leo the mutant ninja turtle.... i hate turtles
