I jumped for joy when insomniac stated they are working on resistance 2. resistance is my all time favorite game. Im getting uncharted in 2 days, then ill judge that one. ratchet and clank, ehh, not so much. i love ratched and clank but not that hyped.
Resistance...Chances are its going to come out before....The story must have been thought out even before the first game had been put together so at this point i think they just need to put some stuff together. Lets see what happens, but i am really looking forward to resistance seeing as it turned out to be a nice surprise for the system.
Resistance 2 will be the next game , but I would like to see a new IP after that. They can go back to Ratchet after that but I think the series needs a bit of a break , not because it isn't good ..... but because they have released so many and the series need a bit of a break.
Only problem I have is the online. It seems "easy games attract stupid people". There were TONS and TONS of morons online with RFOM. Even on the very first day I bought it, left a bad taste in my mouth. So I don't think I'll be following this series next time. I'd want a decent online experience. Sure there are fartheads now and then, but RFOM is an infested pit of roaches.
hmm, well I think i'd like to alternate, so resistence 2. Either way, we got an unofficial confirmation of resistence 2 already, and it's probably what they're going to release next.
Neither. I think ratchet has run its course, dont get me wrong I love the games, but its time Insomniac make a new platforming franchise. A new resistance would be awesome tho.
I was a little let down by Ratchet and Clank Future... I really liked Resistance, though. I'll probably be online from day one, unlike Resistance 1. See you guys online and on myresistance.net!
Resistance 2 with the old weapons and more! Thats the thing about Insomniac games, they always give us neat weapons each game, can't wait to blast most of those Chimera with the Auger or upgraded one!

What other franchise could they make a sequel for? They've only done four different franchises:
Disruptor (They do not own the rights to this game)
Spyro (They no longer own the rights to this game)
Ratchet and Clank (no more titles in this franchise)
Ratchet and Clank Future (there will be a sequel eventually; ending sets it up for one)
Resistance (cliffhanger at the end of this title as well)
I'm pretty much certain that Insomniac is working on the sequal to Resistance and thats great as the 1st RFOM was a fantastic launch title and the 1st PS3 game to surpass 1million worlwide.
I know Insomniac are gonna switch between R&C and RFOM on a yearly basis but I hope Insomniac create another new IP for the PS3

It will probably all be Ratchet and Clank Future now. Ratchet and Clank Future is really just a sequel to the Ratchet and Clank franchise. The two franchises are different, but it's the same universe with the same characters.
Actually, Secret Agent Clank and Size Matters are part of the original Ratchet and Clank franchise, but they aren't developed by Insomniac.

I personally would prefer another Ratchet and clank game. I didn`t like Resistance that much, it was a good game but just didn`t catch my interest that much, played through it and wasn`t so impressed. I just find rathcet and clank more fun to play, but thats me :)
I just wanna see how much a sequel can improve. And thats something both teams talked about. As they have preached that with this system the sequels will be much better even. So with that being said. I would Love to see Uncharted 2. But I rather they take their time on that. And we know their is another Ratchet coming already via the story. And I forget how RESISTANCE ended? Had a brain laps lol, Get those all the time :P But I think the biggest leap will be RESISTANCE 2.
Resistance wins! i thought it was fun, and i liked the story.I dont have uncharted or RAC so i cant sa about those.The Uncharted demo was awesome though.
Well I really like the R&C series but they only just released a new one, so resistance is my choice. But they need to add more to it. I dont know what, but the stroy mode was lacking something.The story should be told through something other than those cut scenes. It just made the experience less immersive. The wepons were good though. But the next one needs something to make it stand out more.
