What Do You Want To See More Of On The Playstaion Network

I own a PS3, but I respect Xbox for coming out with Xbox arcade. I think playing old games on a new system is one of the best ideas of this new generation. I think Sony should do this at a quicker pace that it is doing it now. Here is what I want done:

1. More PS2 Games available for download! - Why the heck not?! If Sony is only going to make the 60gig version the only one with fully backwards compatiablity functions, why not have at least 100 to 200 PS2 games available for download on the PSN? All greatest hits games should be available, PERIOD! It would make the gaming companies more money, so why would they ever object to this? Do this Sony! Now!

2. Do the exact same thing for PS1!!!! - All of the greatest hits games should be available to download on PSN immediately! Why is this not being done?

3. More Aracde games - Tetris, block buster, ALL mortal Kombat games just to name a few. I think new games are great, but the old classics MUST be available if Sony wants to be the "Future" of gaming

4. Music - I'm getting ahead of myself here, but Downloadable MP3's would be awesome. Make a deal with apple and get Itunes on there.

5.More Downloadable content - I know this has more to do with the gaming companies than Sony, but if I spend 60 bucks on a game, I want to be able to download stuff for it to increase the replay vaule. Add extra levels to Dark Sector, Add an Alternate ending to Condemned bloodshot, Have behind the scenes content available for download for Call of Duty ect....

Just because its a greatest hit doesnt mean its a good game. But yeah it would nice for ps2 games and more PS1 gamesavataraang1

Of course, but it would be the most logical to put the Greatest hits games on the PSN since those are proven to yeild a profit.

More content for the games, obviously. I'm glad they changed the menus and moving from one area to the next to find games, etc. The old PSN was kinda lame. The new is much better. Would be nice to see more gaming news, streamed to one side of the screen. Maybe some live gamer tv via the net while you shop, I think that would be kinda neat.

Music from iTunes to download directly to your HD and such is a great idea.

More DLC for PS3 games. Why can't I download extra characters for Disgaea 3!? If Japan has such good stuff why can't the US get it?

That's true. But what if they had exclusive music from particular games (That you could actually play while gaming) It's a reach, but that would be a way to make it more exclusive

Having leaderboards would be awesome too! THey should have the top 100 gamers up at all time. They could show their trophy collection and everything.

Basically, they should basically do more things to make it more communal on PSN. It should be a little bit like Gamespot (Setting up times for everyone to be online and play a particular game tournament.) They should have custom tournament for us to join!

Come on PSN! If I can think of this stuff, where are you guys at?!

All i really want are demo's for every single psn game and more of the games coming out. PS1 and PS2 game wise i can understand troubles with negotiating with publishers over letting them put the games on psn and can understand wanting to focus on PS3...just nice to have demos for everything CosmoKing7717

Again, I don't understand any "troubles with negotiating with publishers". Those publishers are making 0 dollars on those games now. Any sales generated now are from used copies on sites like Amazon and eBay. Where's the problem? Do these companies not like money? Give me Twisted Metal 1!!!!

Couldn't agree more. They have such an awesome back log of games that would put XBL to shame. Sony has got to know that. Just makes me wonder what's the hold up. Game devs aren't making any money on FF7 copies being sold on ebay for $70 and up. Besides that I would say more PSN games (not like adding full length games, but original titles). There's some gems on there, but more is always better.
