Bringing back the lesser priced sku would be key for sales growth this year imo. Other than that , I think they will be fine because the games will be there and they are working hard on improving online.Nike_Air

yea a $400 SKU with wifi would really make microsoft cringe. i mean they dont have wifi, you have to buy a seperate $100 add-on for it. but if they were to do that, sales would soar. take what you get inside the 80gig(no emo chip...haha, emo) and make a 40 gig one for just $400, leave out the chip reading stuff that the 60gig had over the 20gig though.

Just lower the price. Lets not forget that the "heavy hitters" like FF, MGS, God of War and GT haven't come out yet, those are usually Sony system sellers. With those games and a lower price point, they should sell.graze81

It might be. People stillview the PS3 as too "expensive". If the rumor of a 40GB at $399 is true, the user base will go up by tons.

Sony is doing everything right with what they have to work with. The PS3 is the best machine and it costs more to make, but it will also have the longest life span. Can you honestly see MS supporting the X360 five years from now? What about Wii? This season is important to Sony, but I really think 08 is going to be critical, but by then Sony will have the games and manufacturing prices will have come down.

Dude, are you sure Legendary the Box is a PS3 exclusive??? I've seen it in like three magazines and NO freaking magazine has said what platform it is on... where did you read it's an exclusive???
