There are some things like the repetition of pawn combat phrases that don't bode well for extended play, and that's really what this type of game caters to. I was much more taken with the "Amalur" demo, though if they patch a few things I could see this game being fun. Trading and training pawns across the net is an interesting theme, they had something like it in "Gran Turismo 5" where you could use friend's AI driver pool for your races, and the drivers gained experience and cash they took home to thier "garage" the next time the owner signed on.
It promoted friend stuff and good will in the GT community, encouraging teamwork of sorts, I don't see where this game would be too different.
I think they have a lot to fix, though.
:)
And i still say that the demo of "Dogma" can't be very representative of the final game - It's two battles and nothing else. Imagine if all you had to judge "Skyrim" on was two quick fights? The game, as we all know, is SO much more.
(I don't play it and I'm not a fan, but millions of devotees can't be too wrong)
:D
I think DD should be on any fantasy gamer's list at SOME point. Perhaps not $60us (or your local equivalent), but SOME time...
