lighting up red?  Its even on that pamphlet that came with the PS3 itself.....just curious.

Yeah... I was wondering about that just a few days ago. It would be awesome that the PS button can light up but I guess it will take more battery power.

pretty old really, the e3 controllers had red lighting home buttons but they never put it in the consumer ps3's controllers. They only use it now for commercial purposes. If you think it is the ultimate PWNAGE there is a guide online somewhere on how to make it youreself ;)

Who cares if your PS button lights up or not, it does not affect your gaming experience, like someone said it would probably drain your battery quicker and then everyone would be complaining about it. i know no one needs it to light up to find the button so does it really matter that much?

i read somewhere it was takin out for battery purposes as well. it could at least lite up when you touch it or something thatd be cool.
