Home is an online community on the PS3. You interact through 3D avatars in a virtual world. People will have their own areas called "apartments" which you can customize. Home will work as a launchpad for online gaming with friends. There will also be some minigames in Home such as pool, bowling and arcade-like titles. You'll also find areas to see videos (game trailers, movie trailers, etc.).
Over at Gametrailers.com someone put up a 25 minute walkthrough video of all the features- do some looking around over there for a better idea.

you do realize that the word 'Home' is as generic as any word can possibly get right? Unless you know specifically what you are looking for, you will end up getting tons of redundant results.

It's going to be the next thing in the gameing community that will allow people to meet other gamers with the same taste in games. Along with a lot of other nice features and some that are just going to be kinda a waste of time for some people. In the begining there could be some problems but in time this could get better.
One thing that would be a concern for me is how could we keep pedifiles out of the lobby or at least be able to monitor these people to protect the kids that will be on the HOME network.
