What Final Fantasy are you more excited for?

As we all know, there are two Final Fantasy games heading toward the PS3: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Which one are you more excited for?

You should have thrown Final Fantasy 14: Online in the mix, i'm sure that would have taken most the votes!

Not sure... I'm excited for FF XIII simply because I actually know more about it. But from what I hear, Versus will be more action-oriented, so I may end up liking that one more. Just wish they'd release more info about it!

Both are Final Fantasys, but I much prefer real-time action gameplay more than turn-based combat.

Also, I totally loved Kingdom Hearts's, so this is right up my alley.

Can I be equally excited for both ?

I don't know enough about versus to be too excited. I still want both, but XIII gets the vote for now.

I'm more excited for 13 but since it is so far out I'm not really sweating it right now. I'm more excited to download 7 from PSN once by PSN points card I bought from amazon with a giftcard arrives... It's been so long since I played 7 I can't wait to play it again.

It should tide me over until 13 actually comes out.

I'm more excited about Final Fantasy Versus XIII more then FF13, andalso waited 3 years for FF VERSUS XIII too.

Im exited for all the FFXIII games but to chose only one then i will pick FF versus XIII.. this one looks like mroe of a romance which is cool :P

FFXIII. I'm excited for Versus as well, but the mainstream game is what I can't wait to play. All the trailers have looked amazing to me. Versus looks cool, but I don't know about playing as a boy band and stuff :P

FFXIII, I really have little to no intrest in FFvsXII at this time. I didn't like kingdom hearts or FFVII CC either.

That one shot where all those dudes are walking toward the screen in their decked out attire just reminded me of a boy band. I haven't really seen much of the game other than that one screen. Here it is:

That just screams boy band to me. The guy with the gun is the least intimidating in that bunch. Not a knock on the game, but I just think it's funny. I really want the game.

Until we get some more details on vs. I'll be looking more forward to XIII. I'll probably get both tho.

I'm most excited for FFXIV even tho it's not on the list. XIII comes in right behind it, since not too much has been released on VS yet.

I don't understand why anyone would be more excited for FF XIV than either FF XIIIs. It's an MMO. I didn't even bother to play FFXI and I've played every title in the series(even the crystal chronicles series and tactics). It just baffles me why Square Enix would consider launching a MMO title under the name of main series. It really should be a series by itself e.g. Final Fantasy Online. That sounds a lot better than naming it Final Fantasy XIV. I even consider the title the most dissapointing title during E3. When Sony announced it, I couldn't be more excited. Once that "online" appeared right at the end of the trailer, it was a punch to the gut. *shakes head*, I just don't understand.

There's no doubt in my mind that players will have to pay a monthly fee(+more for any extra character you create). If for one reason or another Square Enix decides to make it free to everyone, than I might pick it up. It's pretty much the only reason why I didn't bother with Final Fantasy XI. I didn't want to pay monthly fees. No doubt I can afford it, but it's something I'm not into.

Still, it's just wrong to put an MMO under the main series. It's misleading. It's bad enough Final Fantasy XI is a MMO.

BTW, I have nothing against Square doing an MMO. It's the title that bothers me.

There's a strong theory that Final Fantasy XIII is a remake of Final Fantasy VII in disguise.

Just a taste of the theory. Other comparisons is that the only boss we've seen in trailers is that scorpion machine that shoots lasers. Well, it's very similar to the first boss Clouds face. Also, that there's a black member(be compared to Barret) in the party with Lightening during that fight... well.. yeah. There's topics about it.

FF XIII. Not excited on FF XIII Versus one bit, no gameplay showcase and since i'm asian its theme almost same as that your everyday idiotic melodrama movie with string of preety boy and gangster wannabe. Unless there are gameplay trailer or showcase, FF XIII is forgetable to me.

I'm amped up for XIII, Versus XIII, Agito XIII, AND XIV. Square's been putting in some overtime because there's four consecutive titles all slated for a 2010 release. I'm just hoping Square isn't just pushing these titles out the door.

I'm quite exited for VS XIII.

The team that is working on it is the same all star team (Square Soft) that gave us FFFVII, FFVIII, FFX and Kingdom Hearts I, II.

If the trailer is of any indication, we'll have fantastic story, amazing music and superb gameplay. I strongly believe VS XIII will be a gem to remember for years.
