What game genre needs work?

Hey guys, what genre do you think needs the most work? Everyone has their favorite genre that they arn't happy with, so whats yours? (and how would you improve it?)

JRPGs on console's suck ass this gen, there's a few good one's like VC, Demons Souls and Persona 4 on PS2 but nothing else really stands out. -Hoax-

Would you say movie-tie in games are a genre because if so, they need A LOT of work.

Yeah, JRPGs need something new and fresh. Resonance of Fate is great, but after that it's pretty meh. Valkyria Chronicles is obviously OMG AMAZING, but it's technically a SRPG.

I want some Platformers, too. I just want more of them.

JRPGs. The PS3 JRPG lineup pales in comparison to the PS2, and can't even compete with the PS1. Thank god for WRPGs like Fallout 3/NV though.

FPS. Would love to get some with 20+ hour campaigns. $60+ for 5 hours! Come on.

Shooters, need to be longer and most need more originality, and horror games this gen have sucked.

I want more FPS and RPG hybrids, its such a good combo. Borderlands is one of my all time favorite games.

Horror games have dulled down themselves lately, I don't like it.

And regular FPS all seem to similar and generic.
