Hi, I had to work a lot in the past months and havent got much time to play some but the situation at work got better and I have now more free time. So I wanted to ask if I missed some really good games... I heard sleeping dogs, dishonored and darksiders 2 are awesome.. im playing darksiders 1 at the moment, a friend of mine has given me the second part, im excited because darksiders 1 is really fun so far. I also know that the games story isnt that long so im thinking about what game i should get after the darksider parts. i own (blame on me) all assassins creed, fallout 3 goty, dragon age 1-2, dead space 1-2 and havent played any of them. for dead space, i think im gonna sell them, i played the first part until chapter 7 and it just got boring, no fun for my taste. i heard assassins creed is awesome but i tend to an rpg, im so in lust with mass effect but i dont own them and i dont want to buy another game till im done with my unbeaten collection. what would you recommend me to play of my unbeaten list and general? (no uncharted, god of war, dark/demon souls, dragons dogma, skyrim, ive beaten them all) bad english btw :D

Well, first of all, Darksiders II is VERY different to DSI, I love DSI as well and got DS II on release, but so far I'm so dissapointed with it....it's still a good game but the pace has been taken out completely and, though you say you're not english, can't tell if it helps you but the german translation and voice cast is awful bad, they all lack the motivation and enthusiasmn, Death voice, you can literally HEAR how his VA reads bored from the paper and waits for his paycheck.

Assassin's Creed on the other hand is certainly worth a buy, so far this series was never bad and always stood for quality, sure, they changed stuff over time as well, but never that much that you would have felt you're playing a completely different genre.

And last but not least about Mass Effect: You can just wait until the Trilogy Edition get's released for PS3, so you have all 3 games in one. And if you want the experience to be as epic as possible you HAVE to start with 1 and play it in order to the end of 3. ME also is more about the personal story and decisions you make than RPG, 2 and 3 are less RPG and more shooter actually with some rpg elements while 1 still had a bit more of it. Still awesome how your personal very own story unfolds and what kind of consequences may come from it.

And if you can wait a bit and don't mind heavy japanophile JRPG's, there's one coming to the PS3 not too far away (at least here, release date is January 2013, no idea for other regions), "Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the Withe Witch" which is animatd by Studio Ghibli and created by Level 5 Studios, here's a trailer:

So, hope I could help you :)

try Kingdoms of Amular. It is a great game that really has no issues. Has the RPG of WoW, but has button mashing and combat that would rival GOW. only GOW3 was only like 15 hours long where Amular is 100s.

Yea I heard Darksiders 2 is a lot more different than the first part, most people say it has more RPG elements in it, anyways I'm going to play it as soon as I'm done with the first part of the series. About the german translation, no problem for me, I'm not that good at writing in english but I can understand most of the words, my main reason why im currently playing the first part in english. A Mass Effect Collection? Didn't know anything about it, but I think I'll give it a try once it is released, one question for the Mass Effect series, is the third part the last part of it? Or will there be a ME4? Your opinion about AC gives me the input to give the series a try, I watched a lot of LPs and it looks awesome. I'm a big RPG Fan and I really like adventure games, I dont play a lot FPS, Puzzle, or Fighting games. I think I'm going with AC right after DSII and till then, ME Collection will be available. Thank you!

You're welcome :) And to answer the question about Mass Effect:

The First Three center around the Story of Commander Shepard, and this is definetly closed with Mass Effect 3.

But EA / BioWare also announced they're not done with the Mass Effect Universe yet, but they've not yet decided where the series shall go next and what to do with the ME Universe.

But having played all three I can assure you, they're a completed experience :)

And about AC: If you like a great musical score, awesome atmosphere or great gameplay you really can't go wrong. Only problem it has is that AC I is very repetetive, but they started with it kind of as an experiment, afterwards from II onwards it's pure quality. I is still worth a try because it's very challenging sometimes and Altair's Story and Personality are very interesting and he kind of echoes a bit through the other games as well, though it's not as important.

If you haven't already played them, you should definitely get Vanquish and Red Dead Redemption. They're two extremely good games. Since you said you like RPG's, you could also try Tales of Graces f. I've heard it's really good. I've bought it but I haven't played it yet.

I was gonna suggest Demon/Dark Souls but then I saw you already beat them :)

If you're a big fan of rpgs then play Dragon Age Origins first then switch it up with Assassin's Creed or something. Don't go charging in and play a whole series at a time, it could get very repetitive and boring, unless it's that good and you need more lol.

Well, if you've beaten Vanquish and liked it, and with you mentioning you like RPG's, try Binary Domain as well. It's a more story driven Vanquish with RPG Elements and really stood out to me.

I like the saints row series. I would say fallout:new vegas but not on a console. Bethesda seems to love porting pc games to a console. Which ends up being a monster power hog and a slow down/crash nightmare.

Maybe try something new and go for Catherine? Binary Domain is also a fantastic choice.

Haha yeah, I did it to God of War, played the original three back to back and it got stale. Still love the games though.

Haha, same here. Played all three God of War games back to back only to stop halfway through number 3, as awesome as the series is you definitely get pretty burnt out later on.

Bioshock, if you haven't played it - it's a masterpiece.

Darksiders 2 is a good game, but it has its flaws. The puzzles are really really redundant. You will be pushing a ball into a indent in the floor 95% of the time. But the game is played like a Zelda, Prince of Persia and Kingdom of Amalur cross breed. I liked the first one better, not to say #2 is a bad game tho. Sleeping Dogs a awesome. Think Grand Theft Auto, but the main character is as badazz as Jacki Chan or Jet Li. Combat is fun like Arkham City, but you can also grab people and slam their heads into telephone booths, throw them in trash bins, shove their heads in big fans. I reccommend this game to anyone. Dishonored is ok. I think it is overhyped. It's short too. But still a decent game.

Sleeping Dogs > Darksiders 2 > Dishonored.
