what game should i get should i go for rainbow 6 vegas 2 or the orange box

is the load time in the orange box that bad where they slow your enjoyment

and have they released a patch for vbegas 2 fixing the online issues and dose it help can u now actually finish a match

The load times did not hinder me as much As i thought. It playes decent. Till you get to HL part 2 Episode 2 really. And by that time you can look it over. But this does not mean that it looks fantastic by anymeans. But its a cool game, if you have never played it. Everyone needs to at least try halflife. Just so you can go their once.

But I would still get R6V2. Despite the fact They may be sued for server probs. Still a cool single. And could be a great online game. And may be after they have to give out mega bucks for not delivering what they say is in the game.

well i own both.. and althought the orange box is a great deal for 5 games in one package although you probably have already played 2 of those games.. The orange box is pretty much and encyclopedia of valve's greatness and for the PS3 the only slowdown i experience (with it being a port by EA) was in half life 2 episode 1.. other than that no slowdowns... the load times are a little long but don't separate you from the action..

like i said yeah its 5 games but two of them you have probably already played.. the longest being Half Life 2.. the others averaging out to about 5 hours.. and the multiplayer with TF 2 might not last you as long as vegas would simply because it lacks variety.. and the gameplay of the Half life series is starting to feel dated.. its still great and with portal i say its definately a rental.. and a purchase in most cases.. but if you want to decide between that and vegas.. i say go with vegas..

I just finished the Vegas single player and it was great.. and the multiplayer (now with fixed servers) is fun and good to go on any ocasion.. since it's new you can get going with it and have fun with its pretty decent online community..

I Second your comment. I played Half Life and Counter Strike throughout college and HL2 looked great on my PC better than PS3. Recently I bought O.B. and promptly returned it for RB6V2 well worth it great rank up and customization sytem. Excellent tactical shooter, though I still love the depth of play that the first RB6 or Ghost Recon offered. RB6V2 is Superb.
