What game weapon do you prefer, guns or swords/bladed weapons? Why?

I go for swords or bladed weapons because it's more bad ass and fighting face to face >>>>>>> range battle.

Guns are for cowards because they don't want to get near enemies. The only game with guns I enjoyed are Counter Strike, MGS series, GTA series, and RE series. When I play shooters, I go near the enemy first before shooting them unless I;m using a sniper. Hehe.

Most of my games have characters that uses sword or bladed weapon.

Swords. The bigger, the better; they're bloodier and more cool looking:)

Oh, and by the way, guns ARE NOT for cowards, they're more tactical.

Doesn't matter as long as the game is good. If I had to choose it would be guns.

And cowards? This is a video game. It doesn't make you more manly to sit on your couch with a pretend sword rather than a pretend gun.

there are other game genres that include weapons ex: action adventure and platformers. In regards to the question I'd have to say I enjoy swords/bladed weps more

In real life theres no doubt that i would use swords because if u use a gun it quick and painless. For a sword, u can make it go slow and painful.kg91295

swords. In real life, I practice both things (I do Kendo and Im a hunter too). But I prefer swords. Guns are easy to use, require less training and skill while swords, or in that case, any close weapon, requires training, devotion and skill. Meaning that a nobody could kill you with a gun, but with a sword they wouldnt be able to.kenshinhimura16

I like RPG's, but I so f**king hate their swords! Very unrealistic.

I don't like big swords especially JRPG swords. Katana or similar to it are the best looking swords!

I would normally go for the sword and blade cause for in most games they give you a nice feeling of you have done some brutal and evil. Guns does'nt give you that specially on the PS3 witch have no rumble.aDanishDynamite

The reason is because swords are more creative with battle styles and it feels nice when u slice someone whereas a gun just blows a big hole in someone.

Bit of both. If I play games like LOTR then i use swords but bows at the same time. More Aragorn than Legolas however.

Prefer RPG's then FPS. I think that is what is being asked here.

It's all about going Dante-way, combining the two.
