MUST ADD TO GAME COLLECTION ON DAY 1.
1. Bioshock- Never had a chance to play the whole game on 360 or PC. Very happy to hear that it will be coming out for the PS3.
2. Fallout 3- Couldn't play Mass Effect. This looks a lot better than Mass Effect in my opinion. I need a good RPG...
3. Little Big Planet- Looks like a game that my girlfriend and I will be able to enjoy playing together. After playing about 20 hours of Civ Revolution with her this weekend, this looks to be the next BIG thing.
Games I Will Buy, But Not Day 1
1. Resistance 2- Ok, so Insomniac makes superb PlayStation games. Resistance was a very good game and Resistance 2 looks like it will blow the first one out of the water. 60 player online looks promising, but honestly, I was never that into the online multiplayer. I'm more interested in the 8 player co-op campaign. I will definitely add this game to my collection, but after I finish BioShock.
2. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed- This is the game that I thought Star Wars Episode 3 would be...I've always wanted to play a game where I get to be a Jedi and use bad ass Force powers...This is everything that I always wanted, but something tells me to not get my hopes up. Expect nothing and maybe the reviews will prove me wrong. My birthday is September 17th. A solid game would be a welcome birthday present.
Wait and See...
1. Guitar Hero World Tour- I'll wait for it to be used for $30-40 before buying it. I can't wait to jam out to some Hendrix. I've already got a Guitar from GH3. I am not spending $180 on fake instruments.
2. Call of Duty 5- Did I love Call of Duty 4? YES! But am I skeptical about the WWII setting and the change of developers? YES....I've got enough shooters ahead of this one that I can wait a couple of months down the line.
3. SOCOM: Confrontation- I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've never played SOCOM before. I played my shooters on Xbox last generation. I invested about 140 hours into Warhawk since it came out. If SOCOM is any bit as good or as addictive, I expect this game to be my online multiplayer game of choice.
4. Prince of Persia- This game looks awesome in every way. I missed out on the series the previous console generation and am excited by what UbiSoft has in store. Definitely a game worthy of adding to my collection, but money, and more importantly, free time, dictate when I will be able to buy this game.
