What games do I NEED for PS3?

I've only had it for about a month and I feel like I'm missing out on something. I def need to get in on the online multi-player action but I haven't gotten a game that has it yet.

So far I have:

Metal Gear Solid 4-beat it, loved it

Batman Arkhem Asylum- even though I'm the biggest Batman fan ever I got bored with this game pretty quickly... I left off when the batmobile got smashed and havent returned

Red Dead Redemption- seems like an awesome game but I got kinda bored with it too. I think i might just need a bigger TV to really enjoy this game.

GTA4- played just a little bit of it an returned it.

So what do you guys think I should get next? I feel like I haven't really tapped into PS3 yet. I love nerdy things, violence and good story telling.

Mass effect 2.. Yakuza 3 and 4.. valkyria chronicles.. Littlebigplanet 1 + 2.. Killzone 2 + 3. . dunno.. cant think, its too early.

Damn!!!! totally forgot. Demons Souls :)

Uncharted 1 & 2,God of War 3 and Infamous.;)

Uncharted 2, Infamous, Ratchet and Clank, a crack in time, and Resistance. I have also heard good things about Heavy Rain.

Games you should investigate that you might be interested in that I think are must haves for PS3. Just my opinion:

MAG (If you are into online playing. The game is not like COD)

Uncharted 2, Killzone 2&3, Red Dead Redemption (I don't know how how you got bored with it), inFamous etc.

Uncharted Drakes Fortune and Uncharted 2 are must own games. Other games I highly recommend are Little Big Planet 1 or 2, God of War Collection, God of War 3, inFamous, Killzone 2 and 3 and Heavy Rain. These are only PS3 exclusives, there are plenty of quality multi platform games out there too.

Well you should get the uncharted games, the killzone games, maybe littlebigplanet.

Mass Effect 2, GT5, Demon's Souls.

Definatly get YAkuza 3. I though I would hate it but thestory is one of the best I've ever played in a while. Gameplay is decent as well.

It seems like you are the same as me, you don't take too well to third person sandbox games. In that case, forget about Infamous or Prototype or those kind of games. Although I kinda enjoyed Just Cause 2 and Red Faction: Guerilla.

Little Big Planet is charming, but if you're gonna play it by yourself don't bother. Same with Modnation Racers.

Killzone 2-3, Fallout 3, Bad Company 2 and the last two CoD games are good single player games. God of War 3 and Heavy Rain. That's off the top of my head. Give a shout out if you like rpgs, I could give you some recommendations there.
