YES and that is the main reason I loved it so much. It's like Crash Bandicoot but with guns that you can level up, and upgrade.

If you liked racing u got to get GRID.

Do consider DMC4, if you liked fun games, then prepare to purchase games off PSN, they're not bad.

Getting a new ps3 40 gig spiderman 3 bundle today and wondering what games I should get. I already have MGS4, Resistance, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and Heavenly Sword. I already had COD4 and GTA IV for 360 so don't want those. I'm selling almost all my 360 games because I'm sick of it breaking down.TMurphy28

I was in the same situation... so I signed up for Goozex, which allows you to trade your games to other people for points... instead of going to EB and getting 25% of what a game's worth, you get full market value to spend on other people's games. Check it out. I went and traded most of my 360 games for their PS3 counterparts.

That being said, with MGS4 and Uncharted you've got the best exclusives. Another good exclusive is Hot Shots Golf -- if you like golf, obviously. And basically, most of the other great games on this console are the great games on the 360 -- Oblivion, Orange Box, etc.

When you get your PS3, sign onto PSN and download some demos. Ratchet And Clank is worth checking out, good platformer. Another one is Ninja Gaiden Sigma... yeah, it's basically an update of the Xbox game and looks a little rough around the edges, but it's killer... and if you didn't play it on Xbox then it's flat-out a must.

I'd also recommend Devil May Cry 4, awesome game. Also, Battlefield: Bad Company just came out and though it's not for everyone, I have been enjoying both the campaign and multiplayer. Aside from that, you can pick up The Darkness. It's only $19.99 and it's really a good game.
