I haven't got a PS3 yet but I will probably get one for Christmas..

What are the best action/shooter games for the PS3, and if any, horror games.

MGSIV, Dead Space, and i'm getting far cry 2. It looks pretty sweet. Oh and Resistance 2.

Best action/ shooter games? Probably go with MGS 4, COD 4 or 5, Resistance. My personal favorites are like someone already mentioned if you enjoy baseball, go with MLB 08: The Show. My favorite game for the PS3 is Uncharted: Drakes Fortune..and the sequel is right around the corner so you might wanna look into that. For Christmas, I asked for Far Cry 2 which is a shooter, and I also asked for Valkyria Chronicles..its more of an RPG/action game..but you might wanna look into it.

Is everyone one forgetting this guy doesn't have a PS3 yet! No one has mentioned RESISTANCE WITHOUT A 2 yet:P But get R2 as well. I haven't got it yet but I will be getting it:D
