My birthday is on December 1 and I want to get a PS3. Right now, there aren't too many good games out for it. Will there be any by December 1? Also, will the price drop be around Christmas or will they drop the price at around my birthday? Thanks for the help.
There is a bunch of games out now and there possibly will be several at the E3 show in just a few weeks from now along with a few major announcements for what's in the near future but there was no mention of any indication from Sony about any price drop at any time. The PS3 is actually in it's infancy compared to other systems (being it's designed for a 10 year plus life span).
eh well there alot of nice games like warhawk, ratchet and clank, uncharted, heavanly sword, lair, and there prolly will be a ff demo around that tiem, and sony also said that there should be an annocement about a price cut around that time so yah GO GET IT
You can go to the PS3 page and look at the "coming soon" section, here, all games with confirmed and tentative releases will be shown in order by release date, from soonest to latest.

o yea the question, yea ninja gaiden sigma, lair, warhawk, heavenly sword, madden 08, gta 4, guitar hero III, rainbow six vegas, and im sure theres some more too, maybe little big planet and assasains creed?
Of course there will, Uhh, the price drop, most likely now. For example, the xbox 360 has been out longer then the ps3 and there does not seem to be a price drop. So don't hope for it.
I would expect a price drop, especially if the 360 drops in price this fall.......I think both those systems need a $100+ price drop, or they are going to get buried by the fad of Wii this winter.
As far as price goes, you can get one on ebay fairly cheaper. i got my 20g ps3 for 250. as far as games..... Ncaa football, madden, Gta 4, assassins creed......

Good, I would try to refrain from eBay when it comes to buying a PS3 (or any console for that matter).
