Well I won't try to change your mind about the PSP Go since you seem to have made up your mind. But I will tell you that a lot has changed in the PSP world.
First of all, you can now get digital comics which is muy cool. It's a great way to relive some classic comics (Amazing Spider-Man 1) without blowing a ton of money and never being able to take it out of the poly bag. It's all right there on your PSP and it's sweet.
Also, there are downloadable movies on PSN. Movies, TV Shows, for rent and for purchase. Even if you purchase a movie and delete it because of space issues, you can always go back and download it again because it is linked to your PSN account.
Then, there are the games!
TONS of PS1 titles are out and more are on the way.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Metal Gear Solid
Medal of Honor
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy Tactics
Grandia
Resident Evil: Director's Cut
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Dino Crisis
Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot3
Wipeout
... tons more on the way!
Then the PSP games. There are a lot of good ones: out right now
BlazBlue: Portable
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny
Tekken 6
Patapon
Patapon 2
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Disgaea
Disgaea 2
Prinny: Can I Really Be A Hero?
MLB: The Show
Hot Shots Tennis
Hot Shots Golf 2
Wipeout Pulse
Resistance
Killzone
Gran Turismo
Modnation Racers
Little Big Planet
... and many many more.
Then there are the PSP Minis. These are tiny game files that are cheap and good fun:
Tetris
Pinball Dreams
Pinball Fantasies
... and more. You get the idea.
More and more games and movies are added each week. With the latest update, I noticed there was an option to separate games by system (PSP< Minis, PS1 titles) and there are PC Engine and Neo Geo folders added as well. So far, I haven't seen any Neo Geo games or PC Engine games available for download but if the option has been implemented with the firmware update, I'd say they are probably on the horizon.
Sadly, there are some games that are on UMD that aren't avaliable (yet) for download. I don't know if they are on the way or what. Lumines and Lumines II are both absent from PSN as are Final Fantasy Final Fantasy II. I am sure they will eventually be added as well as others. It's just a question of when. But it is something to consider when deciding.
If you have other questions about the PSP then please email me through here. I'm more than happy to share what I know. Welcome back the the world of the PSP. WhileI do love my DS, the PSP is something quite special to me. I hope you are happy with your decision to come back.
