what if Littile Big Planet gets a low score how will you react?

There is a lot of hype for this game infact a lot of gamers in this forum predict it will get a perfect score AAAAE and other AAAE which is understandable every new game with new ideas get that, but what if the game gets a lower score lets say 8.0 or even a 7.5 how will you feel about that? Will you ignore that and enjoy the game? or tade insults with other gamers who wished for its flop like they do for every game not on their console?

Well first of all 7.5 and 8.0 aren't really low scores. Even so a number score doesn't really matter. You should pay attention to the contents of the written review itself over the number tagged on the side. If almost every review out there scores a game at 5/10 or less then yeah most likely its not worth getting imo, but I still check to see why the game scored so low.

In all seriousness I don't expect LBP to get a perfect score or anything like that. Considering its a game that will grow with time it almost seems unfair for it to be rated upon release. If they were to rate LBP like a month after it hits retail then it would seem more fair.

Yeah I'm not so sure about that. Gamespot gives PS3 games the lowest scores on the internet. I only come to this site because the layout is simple and I like to look at future games. All of their reviews are complete rubbish. If they give Little Big Planet a 7.5 like WipEout HD and say in the review its a good game. I will really consider blocking gamespot in my websites.

I know that 7.5 and 8.0 aren't bad scores but here in GS when you hype a game and say it will get 10 or 9 and it gets those scores people consider them bad, and to tell you the truth you will find a few who read the reviews some just look at the score and don't bother reading the review at all.

Well a 8 or 7.5 is fine with my that's still in my buying range but if its lower than a 8 I'm not getting it a launch I've been waiting yo get either LBP, civ rev or soul caliber(because I cant afford all 3) and if LBP is lower than a 8 then I will just go pick up civ instead. Either way its not a game I going to miss the score just boils down to a launch buy or not.

We're exactly the same. Whenever I want to know about a game, I watch some videos of it not read reviews.

I won't care. Games are much better if they don't score high because you don't expect much but actually it's great. We expect much in games with high score but it tends to be just fine.

I don't care about other peoples opinions. If I like a game, I like it and I don't care about numbers. I will be surprised though if little big planet gets a low score though. LBP should at least get a 9 out of 10! just by looking at it LOL! The games looks great.

ill tell you what would happen.

1. most ps3 users will strongly disagree with this review.

2. people will make endless threads about how gamespot is unfair and the review should be re written.

3. users will then sign off from gamespot permently, thus leaving more sane people and with none-sheep like minds to some extent enjoy gamespot.

4. wait for other hyped game, then repeat.
