That would be great and all, but it's impossible for certain reasons. They compete, and they're programmed under different code. So it would take a joint effort (which won't happen) and a little more money to achive this properly. Though guys like you and myself, can all dream lol

Actually, the most certain answer would be: MS has private servers for their games (thus the reports of some devs saying MS is forcing us to include online) while Sony still doesnt care much about online (a mistake that they should change)
Since MS doesnt want to share bandwith, we will never see this happen, except maybe we may see PC/ console or maybe in those games that dev host their servers.
Well in the days when I had an Xbox 360 I played quite a bit of Saints Row online and while it was very fun, there was a ton of little racist kids screaming in their mics and pretty much every other person would talk like a wanna-be gangster... That's why I'm pretty glad that many people on PSN don't have mics, ofcourse people who can afford a $600 dollar console are probably a lot more mature. So my answer is no, but I really wouldn't mind that much.wallpaper42
Yeah, that was a big reason as to why I almost never played my 360 online

heh, wait till you play RFOM lol Very first day I popped that in, played online before single player and that's all I got. A wannabe gangsta and 3 card carrying members of the KKK bickering at eachother the whole time not even playing. Jumping around from room to room. I haven't played it online since, considering I wasn't too impressed with that for the very first time. So I just focused on single player, which I've had a much better experience.
Guess it would be easier to find people online, but I don't really care over what system people are talking trash to me.
With two online models so vastly different though, I don't think it's gonna happen, surely not this console generation

I'm a Level 35 (Captain) rank on Resistance and I don't think I've ever heard somebody on a mic but I don't have a mic so does that mean I can't hear them if I dont' have a mic?
[QUOTE="Jamie_1987"]no u bastard

No need for insults here. If you cant bring anything positive dont bring anything at all.
Personally I think it would be a cool idea but I dont see it happen...at least not this gen
where did the bastard person go, cuase i dont see anyone by that name or that post. any who that would be so awsome, a few hours ago i was just thinking about if that is happening or not like with vegas where there a re 360's ps3's and psp's all against each other. guess it wont happen..
no thanks, huge age differential will happen. i don't want to play against a bunch of 12 year olds with their annoying squeeky voice on the mic, ps3 vs ps3 only please. kthxbai.LeDavester
good point. but if it was all the systems with that game being able to be played online it would be better cause then more people online, like how resistance had up to 40 people in a game, if all system can have one network the number will increase to be like up to 100
Too much arguing would ruin the experience.
Shame it could work but with so many juvenile apes online it would be a battle of who can brag and boast the most...yawn!!!

Hmmm, that's odd. I've played R:FOM online quite extensively and always had a great time. People almost never have mics on their and when they do I've never encountered anyone being rude or anything of the sort.
