Didn't something like this happen with the N64 in the Uk.
So let me get this right, you would be pissed if Sony dropped the price in the next year. Its a doubled edge sword. On the one hand I'll be pissed if it happened but on the other I would be happy cos it would blow 360 out of the race, Sony would shift millions more. Developer would start making more PS3 games, 360 owners would drop the 360 for a ps3 any day. I also think we will see a price drop in the next6/9months, if Sony don’t start skimming the PS3 cost down then the war will be lost…

You are wrong. Sony won't drop the price and all the whining in the world won't change that. 75 - 100 Euros LOL are you on crack, here how's this Sony can drop the price by 75-100 RMB (Chinese Money) = 10 dollars. Don't worry if SOny doesn't drop it by 100 RMB, I'll mail you the difference.
After I got my Ps3, a warranty, hdmi cable and a 2nd controller I was over $1,000 dollars (USD). It IS a double edged sword.. I want more ps3's in the wild.. but I want to get my 1000 dollars worth also.
