Let me explain myself. Some games I've played have had some pretty nifty ideas regarding tiny bits of gameplay elements that standout because of how well they work. Sometimes those games aren't exactly the greatest games ever made, but they did make an impact on me as a gamer by making such trivial enhancements tothe standard formulathat in the end made my experience with the game afun one. For example, in Haze (an average shooter to most) I really loved the idea of setting up booby traps with my grenades on the weapons dropped by the enemies. I thought that was brilliant and should be mandatory on all FPS from that moment on.I can say the same thingabout Killzone 2's cover system (another brilliant gameplay element not found in other games of the same genre). So I ask you...what great ideas that can't be found on others games butare in a game you like would you carry over to other games?

Being able to crawl through the grass in MGS3 Snake Eater, in first-person view. I didn't like the fact that it kept changing to an aerial view whenever it felt like it, but when it was in first-person it was pretty cool. You could crawl up to the edge of a clearing, knowing you're well concealed, survey the area, find your enemies, etc. That's one feature I miss with a lot of shooters.

The natural feel of Uncharteds characters. All of them don't have a run animation set, it interacts with the enviroment. They're never still, can trip and fall, stumble over objects, climb certain objects differently... they just look very natural. Nothings ever stiff.

In Sacred 2 there is a "hero chest" that lets you store all the items you dont want to sell. The chest is accessible by all your characters on separate campaigns.

If I remember correctly, you can do that in the COD games.

Oh yes, I remember that one. It's a great feature and it would've fit perfectly in Borderlands (I like the vast majority of the weapons I find in that game and it's too painful to have to get rid of them).

I agree with you on KZ2. Generally, I thought the game was a little overated, but I thought that the cover system was great and I thought that more FPS games should use that also.

Another one I forgot to mention is Dead Space and it's ability move while aiming (it should be standard on all horror games).
