what is a good multiplayer game?

i just got a ps3 and wondering wut a good game is to play when friends come over and stuff (not interested in online)

i do not want rockband because....me and my frinds alrdy play a real instrument and jam together so

is warhawk a good choice? it seems pretty nice (btw i have CoD4 too)
