I have had my PS3 for nearly a year now and never had any problems up until the 2.50 update. After the update my PS3's wireless internet connection tanked. I used to run at around 90-100% internet connectivity, but after the update I was lucky to be at 37%. Unfortunately, after the 2.50 update I was not able to connect to the PSN without being signed off in about 5 minutes due to my lack of connection. Needless to say I wasn't able to play online games with the connection I was getting. I tried nearly everthing I could think of to try and fix the connection but I wasn't able to improve it until the 2.52 update came out. Once the update came out I immediately transfered the update info from my PC to my PS3 in hopes that it would fix my connection and to my amazement it did (or so I thought):?. For two days the 2.52 update brought my online connectivity up to about 60-100% and I was actually able to sign in to my account and play online. Yesterday however my internet connection tanked yet again. My current connection is now at about 17%. It sometimes says its at 100% but for no more than 3-4 seconds at a time and it more often says no connection can be made. Now I cannot sign on to my online account at all. This is really frustrating because one of the main reasons I bought my PS3 was for the free online play, but now I can't even get online. My computer hasn't had any connection problems at all so I don't understand why my PS3 is having problems.
What can I do to fix my connection??? (BTW a wired connection won't work for me because my ethernet cable barely reaches and it gets in the way of everything if I try to hook it up.)
Thanks for any answers :)
