This is one of the few games that make me want a PS3, (no, I don't have one). But I've heard neither hide nor hair about it since way back in the day. Anyone know anything new?
If you saw the last trailer you'll notice at the end of it a guy sitting in a Jeep while some animals walk by. I'm guessing the game might be some sort of photographer/video capturing game of sorts - it might be something different. I personally think it will have some Home/PSN connectivity if it is that sort of game, it'd be neat to be able to load videos/pictures.
You roam around in a jeep/on foot, getting videos of animals (and pictures). Sort of like an open-world pokemon snap, but without the fun of "oo, I do this and it activates this". You can save videos/pics to your HDD, and put it up in the HOME cinema (user generated theater).
This game looks great although no clue what you'll be doing but the eye-candy is sweet. I hope this game comes out this year cause I know I'll get it no matter what even if only for the eye-candy.
its confirmed to be still in development and "shaping up nicely" as phil harrison said last week when asked about it so i guess we should see some footage really soon
The game actually takes place on different continents. First,you play as a poucher, killing elephants for the ivory tusks so they can be made into piano keys. Then you venture to China where you hunt for Pandas. Lastly, you go to the United States where you try to shoot as many bald eagles as possible.
