I'm pretty sure they will especially since they liscenced the Home sign and when Kotaku reported this news Sony blackballed them. In my opinion blackballing them wasn't necessary unless it's true because it was Sony's secret, if it wasn't true or just a rumour Sony could have just said "No comment" or "We do not have any plans at this time"

well, achievements werent a MUST HAVE!!! for me, but adding them is a good thing. sometimes i want to show off my killing spree badge in resistance or my flOw screenshots

games like resistance probably wont have them, all future games will though, unless they made it so that you could look at current game stats too
I wonder if there would be any way older games could work with the PS Home. The only thing I would dislike would be if be Resistance or any other past games can work with the PS3 Home Feature and you have to play the game again to get any thing from the game to use with the PS Home.Â
What I am saying is what if Sony lets the old games that came out before this feature work with the PS Home and say you get medals for beating the game. But the Only way to get them is play through the game again.
So what I am saying is that I hope I will not have to play the harder levels again. That being the game set on Hard over say Easy.
I just hope if there is a patch that allows you to use the Home feature with older games it will look at what you have done and if you get some thing special in the game it will also work with the PS Home.
The only thing I would hate is if there is a patch so you can get rewards so playing Resistance or other PS3 games is that is you finished the game on the Harder levels and they where hard when you played them before you do not have to play them again to know that you finished them
I can't beat the second to last hardest setting and if I have to do it again I will be mad.

i totally agree with you. they should create it so that older games that you have already completed will be compatible with the ps home. i think this will be at the developers discretion though

Is that why games like Motorstorm, or Oblivion have been delayed, and they just kept it a secret? That's what I was thinking and the same thing with RB6:Vegas they're giving us a demo because it's coming out later for the PS3 and I think that the trophy thing has to do with it.

what in God's name is blackballed? It's kind of like breaking the relationship between Sony and Kotaku except Sony said they dis-invited them from GDC event althogh a few minutes later they made up so it's all good.

Coming this month with the new update and a huge revamp too.
For 360 owners, if the PS3 does come with achievments, how will you manage to get your achievements on your gamercard? Will you keep on buying 360 games or just PS3?
