Some good brands will definately have to be Sony and Sharp. Lg and Toshiba are between average and above average at bigger sizes. Panasonics aint to shabby wither. I would avoid Westinhouse, Insignia, Dynex, Trutech, and Olevia, I worked in retail and these were the sets with the highest returns.

Me myself, I'm getting a 32inch Sharp aquos 1080p this Friday...can't wait to hook up my Ps3 and Wii in this baby :)

I donno exactly what's the best for the sizes you are asking about (19"-22"), but I've just bought a 32" JVC @740p and 100Hz and it has amazing blacks (which is a must for a PS3 or Xbox360) for 700$!!! I know it may sound like a lot of money, but to really enjoy PS3 you need an excellent TV... You don't need 1080p for sizes under 50", but a TV with great blacks (go to CNET to catch the latest reviews, and select a TV with a good review on the level of blacks) is a must, and 100Hz is a really good investement for the future, but not necessary now... I would advice you to wait a couple of months and save some more cash and get an excellent HDTV instead of a "good" HDTV.. I waited for 4 months after I got my PS3 to buy the HDTV, but the wait was worth it...

You can see a bit of difference on 32 inch 1080p over 720p (Checked it myself) but I was gonna go with a 720p model, but Circuit City screwed up my instore pickup order and are giving me 250 bucks off a brand new Sharp...Gotta take advantage of the deal I suppose you know. plus they gave me 24 dollar gift card, not much, bet hey less money outta my pocket :)

But if I wasn't getting discount, I was just gonna go with 720p like I originally intentioned, but still gotta wait till payday.

I wasnt implying that Insignia or Westinghouse were bad brands, I just meant to say they hadthe highest returns over the others. Most of the times you are usually paying for the brand, and most times there is little to no difference between sets. Check Customers reviews on Bestbuy, Cricuit City, or Cnet's websites, and see which models/brands are the best for your needs.
