Hmm well there are alot of them.But when it comes to terms of money I would go with Burnout paradise[download the demo first to try it out]it has alot of great DLC and more to come and it is only 30 bucks/
If you like stunts and crashing other cars without licenced cars, get Burnout: Paradise. If you like licensed cars and you like to tune them, get Midnight Club: LA

they all seems good except Grid its really suck's, it fail's in both sim and arcade, and online is nothing but a crash fest! but GTP5 seems to be the worse deal ever cause its so inferior to the PS2 version anyway, and they still give u a paid content in this stupid demo, i love sim and i can really say that i'm really good at them.

and you really enjoy telling other people about it. the guy asked for a game recommendation not your skills! :-P Agree though that Gran Turismo is the worst. You can make dinner while racing.
Burnout Paradise... Great graphics, great gameplay, tons of stuff to do, has trophies, great sense of speed, lots of different race options, good online, still patched regularly...

GTP5 + wheel = awesome. Have you tried it? have you tried it with a g25? Just awesome. If you still dont like it ...well... you just dont like it . :(

GT5P is not meant to be the sequel to GT4 it's just to tide people over till the full GT5 comes out, thats why it's cheaper and is called Prologue, it still has more content than some full price racing games.
