I'm pretty sure this question has been asked like 1000's times but the stupid search engine doesn't work here at all (is it just me or what?).

Anyway, I'd really like to know your opinions on which is the Best TV for PS3. I don't want just general info like: "any 1080P would work", I'm looking for the Best Picture Quality (color, brightness, clarity, etc..).

I heard that Sony & Samsung are best, but really which is THE BEST where you don't have adjust anything after you buy?

What about Panasonic TV's?

 Thank you

Thank you guys for your inputs.

I've tried my Xbox & PS2 on a Panasonic Plasma and also on a 26" Sony Bravia. Honestly, the Plasma was far more superior than the LCD, but I don't know if that would be the same with the XBR.

Everyone says that LCD is better than Plasma, but I don't know about that at least from what I've seen.

Anyway, I might consider bruce-leroy thought and wait for the 1080p Plasmas. I bet they're gonna be awsome.

There are already a few 1080p plasmas out.  Check out the Pioneer Elite line, and Panny has some new 1080p sets.  Also, plasma will generally always have better PQ than LCD.  There are just uninformed users of the forum trying to chip in.

well they dont suck but they are more likely to get burn in than LCD

so if you play games alot for a long period of time then you do not want plasma cuz after a while the radar/reticle or whatever is always on screen for most of the game can and most likely will burn into the screen

Sony Bravia is the best tv right now imo. But, It's very expensive. On the cheap side, Samsung is pretty good.

Sony and Sharp are not making plasmas. The Pioneer PROFHD1 is the best plasma/hdtv out there right now but it is missing some features that only the PS3 can utilize. Look for a tv that has x.V. Color and deep color. This is a feature of hdmi v1.3. The first tvs to have this will be the xbr4\5 or the 70" xbr3.

There's no such thing as the best tv for your ps3. There's alot of tv's that will suffice, my advice is to take your ps3 with you to stores and see by any chance if you could hook it up via hdmi and check it out yourself or do alot of research and choose one that will fit your needs or parameters (i.e. size, price, modes, bells 'n whistles, etc.) Then make a sound decision because if you take any advice that mentions a brand, be cautioned...

Jesus people. Can you please stop whining about what is the best tv to buy?there isnt one.i got a 7 year old tv and graphics are still amazing.it all depends on the size of the tv.but on any tv, no mater how big the difference is in size, you wont see much difference visually trust me.
