Doesn't the alternate just have the normal RE5 on it and some of the add-ons? And gold has them all.

I seem to remember a video showing RE5 working with the PS Wand motion controls. So I think that's what is included in the alternate edition. Motion controls.

Well the Alternate edition comes with the Lost in nightmare DLC and also supports the new motion wand coming out.

The Gold edition features Lost in nightmare DLC as well as the Desperate escape. Also the Gold edition features 8 new playable characters(for mercenaries) and some new costumes.
