My pick for most impressive would be Uncharted's environments, effects and set-pieces for sure, so far... Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Resistance were full of "wow" moments for me as well

It's El Dorado, not El Diablo...but anyway...

Most things graphically in Uncharted and COD4, plus the MLB08 demo has some of the best graphics I've ever seen, but lifelike realism is something we expect from a sports game...and how when climbing a viewpoint in Assassin's Creed, you can literally go ANYWHERE you can see.

When playing Uncharted, I was wowed by the textures on the rocks with the water affect, and many other textures in uncharted.

overall, only uncharted made me wowed this gen.

This made me gawp. I loved the GOW art style but Uncharted farted on its face in the cutscenes and the gameplay.

Heavenly Sword- At the end where you fight ONE THOUSAND enemies at once

Uncharted- Just..........everything.

Warhawk- The sheer unorganised chaos and huge battles

The way Altair scales and jumps to buildings.

The sounds in resistance switch around the 7.1 speakers as you turn your character's head.

The bushes and weeds in Motorstorm grow in detail the closer you get even at high speed.

The 3-d objects in cod4, also the textures, the sounds, and action. It's almost like this game is using 2 ps3 there is so much going on all at once.

The number of enemies on screen in Heavenly Sword battles each demonstrating simultaneous AI

The way the skateboard and skater reacts to different surfaces and landings in Skate.

The Lag free, fast paced online fighting in Tekken 5.

This right here did it for me, the jet-ski level in Uncharted had me in Awe

Warhawk intense battles on The Bridge with 32 players and planes/tanks/people blowing up everywhere

How real CoD4 seems sometimes

No offense to anybody, but seems we got too many graphic whores here... everything is Uncharted graphics. :P

Mine would be AC cities. Man, this is the first game that has made me feel how an ancient city was supposed to be... or any city for the matter. They are just amazing!!

the final boss in dmc 4. as in the HUGE boss, not the old man boss. just the epicness of him was amazing. i remember how when he is winding up for a hit and i'm running for a jumping platform, me and a friend would wince at the anticipation of being hit. when the jump was made we both would sigh in relief.

also the extent at which you can climb ANYTHING in AC. you can grab onto the tiny hinge of a window for goodness sake! I was thoughroughly impressed by that.
