Same here. That's why I got my PS3... To play MGS4. Is my destiny. :P

I didn't have to send it back to repairs and I have memory for my PS2 games!

I couldn't say free online since I only tryed motorstorm one time and the east server was empty (0 games) while the west server had about 3 "open" games (games that are not already started). I dunno if it's just because I tryed around 1h AM but conterstrike always have people playing (a lot), anyway, maybe I was unlocky, I'll try again later (not in hours).

But the thing I love is surely it's versatility, I mean, I used it to display the travel photos of my friends on the TV (pretty cool) while playing my music (also from the PS3, but this time, it was streaming my music from my windows media player from my PC, without any softwares, just put: "share my media" and it really share). I also downloaded about 20 demos and some trailers too :D (in HD, fast download speed). Also, I like the fact that everything works fine, it's simple to configure the network and it worked way better than my old x360 did (lots of errors on my past x360 with my server).

It can be anything.....even because its black8). But my main reason is the free online gameplay and psn store, i love that about my ps3 so much. oh and cuz its black:D. I just wish that they would release MGS or MGS2 on psn, or FFVII. Jerks..... Ya'llSpace_Cowboy7

Hard Drive - Very easy to upgrade and backup is simple

No Disc Tray - Prevents the dust from entering the console (at least for a long time)

Free Online Play - No need to pay for monthly fees for online gaming

Playstation Store - The potential of PSone titles to flood upon the years to come

Blu Ray - -It's a gaming console and a Blu Ray player in one (Big Value indeed)

Wireless Controller - No more annoying wire issues

Card Readers - I can view the pictures I took in an instant

Platstation 3 has never told me I'm a failure. ;)

But seriously. . . I guess the fact that it's a Playstation. And reliability. Very important.

PlayStation rules! Everything about it kicks ass. Hold it in your hands and you can tell it is a ridiculously high quality piece of hardware. It has an insane amount of technology packed into it. It does EVERYTHING that you can possible do with respect to multimedia. It is easily expandable and uses Bluetooth technology so you can use your cell phone headset rather than buying one that you can only use with your console.

Oh did I mention that Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, and God of War 3 will be playable on it?

theres to many things to list, maybe because its the only console that will play heavenly sword :P

I have my entire music collection (some 35 Gb more or less) in it!

I will play MGS4

I can play all my PS1 and 2 games with no flaws (the recent updates corrected those minor issues).

I have blu-ray.

Well first i love their line-up, mostly MGS, tekken,FF, GoW which are definately my favortie games to date or series, also it has a huge line up of games coming out from New IP's like haze to new amazing sequels like Rachet which i love, also My favortie Devs are practically making exclsuives for PS3. Thats my fist reason i have other such as reliability compared to other consoles, multimedia choices you have ( i love that they included the flash drive slots i use them every now and then) Its just offers so much so im happy with it. My last reason would be becuase its Playstation or sony, They have yet to fail me, I loved PS1 and PS2 i personally enjoyu my PSP and i am pretty sure they will do the same with PS3.

The fiability of the console. And from a cosmetic view, I like the disc tray and how the ps3 take the discs ^^

Staring at my ps3 Not having any good games beside Resistance Fall of Men, Ginja gaiden sigma ,Heavenly sword. Everything else is just garbage I'm very upset with the developers not showing enough love to ps3 games the look crappy compare to xbox360. Good thing is I'm still enjoying my old my ps2 games. that's my # 1 thing I personally love about my ps3
