What is the REAL reason for us ......... (Poll)

.......not having cross game chat?

I know some people are not bothered about it but im just wondering as ive heard so much different things.

Does anyone know the propper reason? and are you bothered about it?

Some people think it will drastically improve PSN if this feature is added.

I don't care, they could take away the ability to use a headset completely and it would be fine with me :D Just a bunch of people talking to other people in their house and making me wonder what kind of hellhole they live in. As far as using it to strategize with your teammates, I was playing in the Dead Space 2 online beta, where there was quite a bit of teamwork required to win a match. Absolutely nobody gave any tips to the newb's. Nobody said a word about the game at all really, just prattling on about their plans for the evening and their homework, blah blah blah.

Who cares? I honestly hate cross game chat. It would be nice to have, but not when you want to play a game online and want to speak with people you don't know.

Even if they add it, I personally have no use for it.

I don't mind it as an option as it seems some folks would use it.

RAM, PS3 has less usable ram then the 360 resorting in less multitasking.Fightingfan

That's probably the most believable explanation I've heard for the reasoning of this.

What's the real point of this anyways?

If you want to hear goofballs screaming over the mic or have awkward pauses thinking about "what to say" while playing a game, just play multiplayer ones.

If it's your friend, pick up a phone.

People whine and moan about "cross game chat", but how many of you are actually going to make great use of this feature anyways? I would guess about 90% of you would drop it in a week because it "got old" or come up with some stupid reason why it didn't "live up".

It's not a critical feature and this "catch up to Microsoft" mentality is so redundant..

I can't help but wonder how many people in the "Who cares?" category would still feel the same if the tables were turned, and the PS3 did but Xbox didn't have it? I have a feeling most of them would be saying "Yeah? Well we have cross game chat! NYER!"
