What is the Top Surviving FPS's This Gen ? (Top 5 Most Online Active)

• MAG
• Call of Duty 4
• BFBC2
• Rainbow Six Vegas 2
• MW2

I always hear people play these FPS's the most out of them all.

No Black Ops and WaW? I wouldn't be surprised if more people play those games than they do BC2. And I can't imagine that a lot of people are still playing Vegas...

I would imagine something similar to you TC, but I really don't know about MAG, I don't hear about it a lot.

Isn't Killzone 3 still pretty active? If yes, put it up there with CoD4, MW2, BC2 and Black Ops.

Some people might still play Resistance 2 as well, but it's probably not enough to get into the top 5.

There seems to be quite a few still playing BC2, I was playing a few days ago and I was in several nearly full sessions.

The CoDs no doubt, mainly Black Ops and MW2 I would think. Resistance, Gears, Killzone and Halo probably still have a strong community as well.

lol Waw only has around 12k at evening now, so rest fps community is pretty much dead on PS3. I remember when I play kz2 couple years ago, I always encountered same players over and over again...yeah its community was so small that I always played with same players. Resistance 2 always has bad active numbers, I had hard time to find a coop match back in 2009. how could ppl still play COD4 when it's hacked so bad on PS3 that you probably cant even find a clean match online. I am glad that I preorder MW3 over BF3 couple weeks agowhen bestbuy had special discount... After all, community size is very important for a online competitive fps game.

That's a definite no. I loved the game, but it's online community was small even months after it released. Last few times I checked online were in the summer of last year, and there were about 70-100 people playing, sometimes less than that.

Basically what you say except i added SOCOM, also people have said MAG had sometimes 300 people online in total but i'm guessing thats wrong.
