Online is part strategy more skill, your either good or your not. I am pretty good but not the best, and it takes practice. Just get used to maps and how the respawn works thats a big part if you kill someoen you can be sure that 75% of the time it will be somewhere near you so always watch your back. be patient and get good with one or two weapons in each class but you have to have some sort of skill before getting into the game IMO
my K/D ratio is .85 or something thats very low. I mostly run n gun so i tend to die alot but i still get ALOT of kills but not just as much as my deaths.
I just got the game and i have around 3 hours of game play and im already lvl 13 or 14. I guess this game is just easy to lvl or my strategy is really good. What i do is i always stay in a pack. I never run alone. I also check my back every 10 seconds. I sprint when i cross the road and i walk cautiously in cover. I never get cocky and try to take down a guy by running at him. I like to keep my distance. I always reload when i get the chance so i don't have to when im in a fight and i use my special nades when i walk into an are that i think is dangerous.
But really, you just get better over time. My KDR is about 2.3, which I think is pretty good. If I get on a server with a good connection, I tend to get a KDR of about 5. I guess you should just try and get good with one weapon, then just kill everyone with that. You won't complete many weapon challenges, but you will become better with your chosen weapon. Learn the maps as well, then knowing where to retreat to when you run out of ammo, or where the enemy is likely to be waiting will become almost second nature. Once you unlock Claymore's, make sure you use them if you're going to camp. Lastly, don't underestimate the pistol, especially in close quarters, especially if you're using a long range assault rifle like the G3 or M14. I get lots of kills with the pistol, I just like it for some reason, even though I can't see any logical reason to use it over most of the primary weapons.
