Well recently I bought a PS3 to sit along side my 360 and one thing I've noticed since I started using the gamespot PS3 forums is there are fanboys everywhere. In every thread I have read there has been multiple posts by someone making a statement about how **** the competition is or posting thier opnion as fact (i.e. "games won't be able to fit on DVD9 in 12 months, which will cause the xbox 360 to stop getting produced and mean it will no longer get any newer games made for it"). Why can't I just read a thread with people who are discussing just the PS3 thats what I'm in the PS3 forums for, if I wanted to read how the PS3 is going to completly decimate all the other consoles 100 times in a thread I would go to system wars. The 360 forums seem to be quite civil in comparision I mean there is still a few fanboys running rampant and posting unsubstantiated information as fact by it is no where near as bad as it is here, it seems to me as though at least 25% of the PS3 forums community are fanboys. What I'm requesting is that people try and stop making these "fanboy posts", I don't need to read about how blu-ray is the best and it will pwn DVD9 in the middle of a thread discussing MGS4 or how the xbox live service sucks because you have to pay for it when I am trying to gather some information about the online of motorstorm, I've already heard these thing a thousand times and it is a waste of my time reading them over and over, please PS3 community try try your hardest and make it stop
