Whats up yall, I wanna know if its just me or is psn been having signing in problems for the past 2 weeks. Most the time I have to try to sign in numerous times to actually be signed in psn, but then games wont work online. Sometimes I'm lucky and just have to try 2 times and games also work online. However today I plain just cant sign into psn , just keep getting that error 8 something something, and not seeing topics on it, makes me wonder if its just me. I've had experiences with dillemas being solely bothersome to me, such as being booted out of EVERY blackops match abruptly, so is this just me again? lol
Been working fine for me. Been playing Shift 2 which is always online and it's been working fine. Did an online chat for about 4 hours one night, tons of online racing, downloaded some DLC, no problems at all.
One day it took an extra 30 seconds or so to sync my trophies, that's about it.
somtimes i have to try to sign in around 2 or 3 times before it actually sings in other than that trophies sync and games work online... i think it's time for another overhaul system update.....
I hadn't played for close to two weeks on the network, and then I signed in just a few hours ago and played Bad Company 2 for an hour or so. Everything went smoothly for me. :( Sorry.
I have been having a problem sigining in. I have it set to auto sign in and it'll not sign me in and says an error has occured. I then go to manually sign in and it's fine. I wonder why that is.

Because there are people here from all parts of the world, I think it's important when having this discussion to identify which PSN you are trying to sign into...
I too have been having the sign in problem for the last week or so. It almost always fails on the first try, then works on the 2nd. It has NEVER had this problem before.
Once I'm in I have not had any problems with online games, downloads, etc.
I have had numerous problems for a few months, even after changing service providers which I thought would solve the problems, which have included * Unable to connect to the network * Connecting to the Network then being disconnected or receiving a disconnected message while still trying to connect * Slow synch of Trophies or trophies failing to synch and timing out * Unable to access Friends list, friends trophies or them timing out while loading * Unable to access Playstation Home completely (crashes/freezes or times out every time i try accessing it) * Playstation Store slow to low, timing out, individual pages and items not loading and/or timing out when trying to access I am sure there are other things if given the time I thought about them
Nothing wrong with PSN for me. If people research a little more they'd know that it's rarely PSN's fault; for example, it's well documented that connection issues in Black Ops is Activision's doing.
yeah i have been having issues for a week or two.. even right now it took me a few tries and turning off the system and back on to sign in.. frustrating indeed.

Just a couple of points as "research" has nothing to do with the matter for most of us. But my problems are by and large with the connection to PSN and not to specific games, and I think you will find the majority of those having problems are in Europe, where there seems to be more of a problem than in North America with connecting to the PSN.
