Ummm.... FFIX from the PS Store. I think Demon's Souls is overrated it's a fun game and all... but it's just so dark and dreary, also it can get kinda dull when your farming and such.
Fallout New Vegas. This game;s so good I'm actually going to finish it. Unfortunately it is the buggiest/crashiest game I've ever played. But even so; what an amazing experience.
Resonance of Fate or Valkyria Chronicles. Other RPGs that I like more than these two are Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins, etc. but I play those on the PC instead.
Nier is technically a RPG, so that. Otherwise it's Valkyria Chronicles.
YES! I knew I wasn't the only one! NIER wins by a mile for me. I have it and am enjoying it quite a bit, but I haven't yet finished it. There are A LOT of quests to do. lol
FF13 so far, but there's a serious shortage of good (j)rpgs on the current consoles

its because lately it seems like jrpgs are a dieing breed in america and more then ever and i see comments and hear some like" this game is to japanese for me" kind of like american games are getting bored of japanese games
I was hoping I'd like Demon's Souls as much as most other people like it. There's something about it though, that just stops me from getting into it. I've had it for a year now but I haven't played it that much. Every few months, I go back and give it another chance, but I just don't enjoy playing it. I was really hoping I'd like I as much as everyone else but I just don't. I'm quite far into it too. I've killed quite a lot of the boss Demons. I'll give Oblivion my vote. That game blew my mind when I first played it.
Fallout 3, hands down. Loved it! New Vegas is enjoyable, as well as TES IV: Oblivion. I'm currently jumping into Mass Effect 2 - it may overtake Fallout 3... All great though!
