What jusr happened to my saved games?

I downloaded a ps3 update the other day and turned off my system shortly after. This morning i turn it back on and all my saved game data is gone... I still got my background and online account but what happened???

That's why you should ALWAYS back up your saves.

By downloaded the update,it corrupted your save data of yours games.You will have to play trought all yours games again.Sorry

How do i back up saved games? Flash drive or something?

no it doesnt.. i installed the update and my save data wasnt erased or corrupted

but i think it may happen sometimes though

as that dude said u should make a backup of ur save data

By downloaded the update,it corrupted your save data of yours games.You will have to play trought all yours games again.Sorrykev1000

I agree... always back up your saves. Both on a regular basis, and right before you make any major update.

Yeah. Or to flash cards (if your PS3 has a reader, or you have an external reader), or an external hard drive... the PS3 gives you quite a bit of flexibility in this respect.
