Honestly unless you desperately want to play PS2 titles and dont have a PS2 anymore get the 40GB version as since i bought my 60GB system at launch ive hardly ever played PS2 games on it.

Traded in my PS2 Games and PS2 to get my 40g PS3 for free, so I don't even have any ps2 games to miss!

I have a 60 gb and Im so happy that I do, I live in a small town so gaming is a very regular hobby, I called up like 12 retail stores and no one had any 60gb, last place I found listed I called with low expectations, they had ONE LEFT, I said put it on hold, biked 3 kilometers in like 7 minutes and bought it.

I underestimated how large the unit was though, it couldn't fit in my bag so I rode with one arm while holding the PS3 in my other, my arm was DESTROYED, could not feel my fingers but still felt all the pain in my arm, nearly got ran over by a careless driver, luckily i kept my cool and did not fall off my bike.

If I had to, I'd do it 100 more times! :D
